Lorena Muñoz-Alonso

Lorena Muñoz-Alonso is a writer, art critic and curator, born in Madrid and based in London. She has long held an interest in the conditions of production of female artists, problematising questions of self-representation and biography. Her current research considers the notions of contingency and choreography in performance and sculpture. She is also working on a project about the use of interior and domestic spaces in film and visual arts as device to convey psychological states. She has curated exhibitions in London, Madrid, and Barcelona. Her writing had appeared in Frieze, Art-Agenda, The White Review, Revista Concreta, this is tomorrow, and A*DESK among other publications, as well as in several artist monographs. www.selfselector.co.uk.
